Sometimes when a roof system becomes too worn for repair or restoration, there are not always funds available to tear it off and install a new one. If this is your situation, you may want to consider a Carlisle Syntec systems overlay. This will allow you to leave the old roofing materials in place and thus save on labor and insulation costs.

Before we consider this option, a number of cut tests would have to be completed in order to determine if the old roofing materials are free of moisture and are still in decent condition.

Once we have determined that the old materials are ok to remain we proceed to install our overlay system;

• Cut existing roofing materials in 10'x10' grids

• Install a high density board to allow a flat surface for membrane

• Install Carlisle Syntec TPO Membrane system

In the unlikely event of a leak, this will allow our membrane to act as the sole waterproofing layer and the original insulation to act as intended.
